Whetu Fun Day Week 9

 Whetu Fun Day


Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch, and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.


My favourite part of the Amazing Race was going to the play centre Because I went there when I was a kid. My team was Imogen, Lexie, Stella, Sophie and Me the parent helper was Imogen's mum.


The rotation I enjoyed the most was the teams' games, my favourite team game was the one there was a bean bag under the cone, The colour of the bean bag was green, we came


During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick in a tree that had a hole in it my stick was purple.

Then we got an ice block the flavour was lime and then we got a milk chocolate easter egg and it was yum.

Kite Day

Last Friday was kite day. Kite day is a day that you fly a kite. We flew the kite at the domain and the field. I worked with Azahliah we worked well. The Kite was made out of bamboo and tape to help the bamboo keep stable, some plastic sheet, the tail was made of three long bits of string, I plaited the tail we made a change the tail was I little boring, then Azahliah hade some tissue paper it was gold then she made boas they were really pretty, I think it is really nice. Our kite did not fly sadly.
